Parochial Church Council - The Parochial Church Council or PCC, is the executive body of a Church of England parish. It is constituted as a body corporate by the Church Representation Rules set out in Schedule 3 to the Synodical Government Measure 1969, and consists of the clergy and churchwardens of the parish, together with a number of representatives of the laity elected by the annual parochial church meeting of the parish.
Extra-parochial area - In the United Kingdom, an extra-parochial area was an area considered to be outside any parish. Extra-parochial areas were gradually either integrated with a neighbouring or surrounding parish, or made independent parishes in the 19th century.
Parochial school - A parochial school (or faith school) is a type of school which engages in religious education in addition to conventional education. Parochial schools are typically grammar schools or high schools run by churches or parishes.
