Telescopes In Education Foundation - The Telescopes In Education (TIE) project brings the opportunity to use remotely controlled telescopes and charge-coupled device (CCD) cameras in a real-time, hands-on, interactive environment to students around the world. TIE is a non-profit foundation sponsored by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and developed through the efforts of numerous volunteers, businesses and supporting organizations.

Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute - Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute (PARI [pronounced Perry]) is a non-profit institution located inside Pisgah National Forest in Balsam Grove, North Carolina dedicated to providing education and research access to several radio as well as optical telescopes to students and researchers alike. The facility was originally built by NASA then owned by the United States Department of Defense as a satellite tracking station under the name of the Rosman Tracking Station, but it was later torn down and sold to PARI.
