Research on Research - The objective of Research on Research is to systematicaly investigate research teams and research policy to improve their productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Eminently interdisciplinary, Research on Research is conducted through four main phases:
GeneWeb - GeneWeb is a genealogy software tool with a Web interface, which may be used either off-line or in a Web environment, and was initially conceived by Daniel de Rauglaudre. It uses very efficient techniques of relationship and consanguinity computing, developed in collaboration with Didier Rémy, research director at INRIA.
GeneaNet - The story of GeneaNet begun in 1996 when several people interested in genealogy and computing, Jacques Le Marois, Jérome Abela et Julien Cassaigne, realized what a great instrument the internet could be for their genealogical research.
African American Genealogical Society of Northern California - The objectives of the AAGSNC are: To enlighten and enrich self-worth and self-esteem of African Americans through genealogical research and interest; To promote interest in genealogical, biography, and related history among African Americans; To supplement and enrich the education of African Americans through the collection, preservation and maintenance of African American genealogical materials; To promote the accumulation and preservation of African American genealogical and related historical material and make such material available to all; and, To promote and maintain ethical standards in genealogical research ...
