Consensual crime - A consensual crime is behavior that constitutes a crime, but all of those involved in the activity give their consent as willing participants and, when charged with the offense, seek to rely on that consent as a defense to liability, arguing that because no third parties suffer as a direct result, there is no public benefit in their conviction. For example, two people may engage in a BDSM activity where one repeatedly strikes the other.
