Compiler optimization - Compiler optimization techniques are optimization techniques that have been programmed into a compiler.
Peephole optimization - In compiler theory, peephole optimization is a kind of optimization performed over a very small set of instructions in a segment of generated code. The set is called a "peephole" or a "window".
Loop optimization - Most execution time of a scientific program is spent on loops. Thus a lot of compiler analysis and optimization techniques have been developed to make the execution of loops faster.
